Weighing just a few grams and fitted with two rubberised disks, for a secure lens connection, our optical insert is designed to go unnoticed and works across the whole Melon performance sunglasses range. Our prescription service in partnership with Zeiss, gives you the full Zeiss experience through both your optical and sunglasses lens, leaving you to experience the best view from your next adventure.

FAQ’s

The price is for an Alleycat optical clip and nose bridge adapter only. It is compatible with the Alleycat sunglasses which can be purchased separately here for bike and ici for snow versions

The Alleycat nose bridge adaptor increases the plastic nose bridge of the Alleycat, allowing it to hold the optical clip. We suggest matching your nose bridge colour to the colour of your existing Alleycat frame.

After you complete your purchase, you will receive an email from Melon with a no-hassle form, where you can add your prescription information. As soon as you complete the form, our team will be automatically notified and your prescription information will be submitted to Zeiss for production of your lenses.

Absolutely! If you’d prefer to do things with your regular optician rather than have Zeiss fit your lenses, you can buy the Alleycat optical clip only here

Whilst we can provide a refund for your Kingpin sunglasses if for instance if they do not fit you well, we are unable to offer returns for the prescription optical clip itself as the prescription is custom made for you
